ICYMI:
“A Round Table Where No One Is Left at the Margins”: Webinar Recording – JUNE 2026
Five country and regional civil society groups partnered with HEAR CSO to convene community-driven conversations on global health architecture reform and identify priorities for action. In June, we convened a webinar where shared what they heard and highlighted emerging priorities from their regions. Catch up by watching the recording here!
HEAR CSO at WHA
At the 79th World Health Assembly (WHA79) in May, HEAR CSO steering committee worked to ensure civil society and community voices shaped the WHO-led joint process on global health architecture reform, publishing two statements: one setting out priorities ahead of the Assembly, and one responding after Member States approved a reform process whose Task Force excludes civil society and people with lived experience. This was following a series of contributions to the WHO-led consultation process.
HEAR CSO also convened two side events exploring what reform must deliver for the communities who need it most. Check out the recordings from these two vibrant sessions (May 19, May 20), each of which surfaced key ideas, calls to action and options for shaping a global health architecture fit for all. Arabic, French, Spanish and Russian translations are available.
